Wolfgang and Nannerl

One of the most anticipated events of the LvivMozArt festival – concert “Wolfgang and Nannerl” took place on August 21st at Lviv National Philharmonic.

Soloists were very young, but exceptionally talented musicians from Ukraine, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland. They performed three compositions by W.A.Mozart.

With the accompaniment of “Lviv Virtuosos” Academic Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Serhiy Burko, listeners could enjoy Flute and harp concerto in C major, K 299/297c, performed by Riccardo Cellacchi (flute, Italy) and Tjasha Gafner (harp, Switzerland), Violin concerto No.1 in B-flat major, K.207, performed by Stella Müller (Austia), and Concerto for two Pianos No.10 in E-flat major, K 365/316a, performed by Khrystyna Mykhailychenko and Bohdan Terletskyi (Ukraine).

The concert “Wolfgang and Nannerl” attracted many listeners, especially children who were entranced with the performance of soloists, whose age ranged from 11 to 17 years.

The loudest round of applause received the youngest musicians – Khrystyna Mykhailychenko and Bohdan Terletskyi – whose performance of the Concerto for two piano was truly brilliant, and whose duet can be called Ukrainian “Wolfgang and Nannerl”!
