Natalya Boeva won the prestigious International ARD Music Competition in Munich, Germany in 2018. Her impressive performance also earned her the prize for Best Interpretation of a Commissioned Work and the “ifp” Music Prize. Natalya is currently an ensemble member at the Augsburg State Theatre in Germany, where she debuted in the 2018-2019 season as Preziosilla (La forza del destino), Charlotte (Werther) and Jackie Onassis in the European premiere of David T. Little’s JFK.
In her native St. Petersburg, Natalya performed Dorabella (Così fan tutte) at the Rimsky-Korsakov State Opera and Judith in Bartok’s Bluebeard’s Castle at the Hermitage Theatre. At the Zazerkalie State Theatre she sang Angelina (La Cenerentola), Isabella (L’Italiana in Algeri), Laura (Iolanta) and Noye’s Wife in Britten’s Noye’s Fludde.
Since coming to Germany in 2016, she has reprised the role of Dorabella with the Munich Chamber Opera and sang the Mother/Mandane in Hasse’s Artaserse at the reopening of the Margravial Opera House in Bayreuth in April of 2018, a production which toured to Cuvilliés Theatre Munich and the Budapest Spring Festival in Hungary.
In 2017-2018, Natalya received grants from the German Stage Association and the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Foundation. She was also generously supported by the Richard Wagner Society of Munich to attend the Bayreuth Festival and was distinguished with the Richard Wagner Prize Leipzig in the Young Performer category.
