Konstantin Manaev

Born in Yekaterinburg (Russia). Konstantin Manaev first studied at the Central Music School at the Moscow State P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory and later at the Carl Maria von Weber College of music in Dresden in the class of Wolfgang E. Schmidt, and at the City of Basel Music Academy under the guidance of Ivan Monighetti.
Konstantin Manaev inspires his audience worldwide – in New York, Los Angeles, Moscow, Paris, Berlin, Zurich, Vienna, Milan, St. Petersburg and Tokyo.
His recordings for the GWK Records label include concerts for the violoncello by C.P.E.Bach, and some pieces by a contemporary Azerbaijani composer Franghiz Ali-Zadeh. Since 2016 Manaev has been participating as an invited cellist in symphonic projects of the “Universal Music Germany”.
