The programme, which consists of pieces inspired by sunny Italy, is presented by Valeriy Sokolov, one of the most well-known Ukrainian violin virtuosos. His tight schedule includes concerts all over the world, and some of the most famous contemporary composers have entrusted their premieres to him. Valeriy Sokolov plays the violin made by Antonio Stradivari, the most famous Italian violin maker.
The evening presents an optimal sounding Stradivari in conjunction with exquisite music inspired by Italy.
